The Bikekitchen Stuttgart is an open bike workshop where you’ll find everything you need to repair your bike yourself. Come by, and together we’ll help each other fix things up! Whether it’s patching an old inner tube, fine-tuning your gears, installing a stylish bell, or much more – we’re here to support you.

The Bikekitchen operates in a spirit of solidarity. This means we only ask for a donation for spare parts. For everything else – from advice to tools and even food – you can pay what you can and want. As a non-profit project, we fund the Bikekitchen entirely through donations. We have a wide range of spare parts and tools, and you’re welcome to drop by even if you just need access to specialized equipment.

The Bikekitchen is a queer-feminist project, and we strive to address power dynamics critically. We aim to create a safe and inclusive space, particularly for women and queer individuals, where you can work on your bike and exchange ideas without fear of mansplaining. We have clear rules for respectful wrenching. In addition to the regular Bikekitchen on mondays, we do FLINTA* only meetups – check out our calendar.

Founded by people with a shared love for bikes, creativity, and scrap, the Bikekitchen is a vibrant community space. If you’d like to get involved, reach out and join us!

You’re warmly invited to be part of our workshop, even if you don’t speak German – we’ll do our best to support you.
